Well I admit it, this patterned paper was definately NOT my favourite when it came out in the Sring/Summer Idea Book and Catalogue back in January. But I did pre order it when we demonstrators had the chance to order select items before the Cattie was released. Just one of the little perks of becoming a demo! I must also admit that it sat unused for several months because this colour combination is the farthest thing from my good old stand by; Earth Elements. I made this card folio about a month ago and finally got around to making some matching cards to go inside it. It will hold four cards nicely and found a wonderful tutorial HERE on how to make it.
I used two sets from the current Occasions Mini Catalogue ( I sure hope they make it into the New Cattie *WINK*) they are two of my favourites right now. I am really pleased with the way the colour combination turned out for this project and I now also have to admit that I will miss this paper. The Rose Red and Kiwi Kiss colors just play so nicely off of each other. I also used a Pretty in Pink matte and scallop edged piece dotted with my white gel pen. I think the lighter pink helps to tone down the brightness of the other colours.
