I am super excited to share with all of you that once again I will be a CREATIVE CREW GIRL for UStamp With Dawn and Friends! The last round of UStamp was so much fun I I had the pleasure of meeting some of my "Virtual Friends" and fellow "Crew Girls" at Convention and what an amazing experience that was! And a big shout out to Dawn Rapsas who achieved #1 Demonstrator of the Year for the USA. What a fantastic accomplishment! If you are looking for great project ideas and a place to meet people who share the love of paper crafting and Stampin' Up! as much as you do then UStamp is the place to go! If you have already signed up for previous UStamps than you know how awesome it is and what talent that is represented from around the world, but let me tell you this round will knock your socks off!!!!!!!! I am sworn to secrecy but I can tell you this much- the talented designers that are added to this round are AMAZING and definately names you will recognize. Interested? Well how would you like to win a FREE PASS TO USTAMP?
Just leave me a comment in the comments section of this post telling me what type of project you would like to see featured as one of the tutorials on UStamp. My creative wheels are turning with lots of great projects in mind but I would love to hear your input! So whether it be 3d items, card sets, gift ideas, let me know and I will ramdomly draw a winner for the FREE PASS on TUESDAY AUGUST 18th.
For more information on what UStamp is all about and how it will benifit you whether you are a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator or customer please visit THIS previous post and be sure to check out the UStamp blog HERE.
Now the following card is one of the other swaps that I took to Convention for general swapping. I only made 12 of them but was proud to say that I took my blogging friend CARRIE'S advice and used scraps to compose my card. That women is so amazingly organized and saves all her scraps from classes and workshops through out the year to make her swaps. So I was very proud when I had finished this card with the bits and pieces of cardstock I had on hand from previous projects.
Stamp set: Friends 24-7, Jumbo wheel Friendly Words Paper: Bashful Blue, Close To Cocoa, Very Vanilla, Night Of Navy, Kraft Ink: Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa Accessories: Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Bashful Blue Brads (soft subtle brads), sponge, Eyelet Border Punch
So what do you think? I am sooo in love with this stamp set! Very simple, quick card to make. Still not sure if I should have added a sentiment. Oh well hopefully those that received it liked it!
Have a great day and don't forget to leave a comment for the FREE USTAMP PASS GIVE AWAY!

What a beautiful card Jenn. You have such great ideas. I'm already signed up for UStamp.....it was such a blast and I learned so much from the design team as well as all the other fabulous women I met from around the globe! It was the best part of my summer.

Gorgeous card! I have never even THOUGHT of making up my unused card stock from classes/workshops for swapping - that's sooo smart!
I would LOVE to see 3D projects - just can't get enough of them:)

I would love to see a card using the Mosaic Background Technique.
This technique also uses bits of scrap paper like your project.
These are placed on sticky paper and the spaces in between filled in with embossing powder and embossed.

Hey Jenn,
I would love to see more gifty type items. Great to see you're up and posting again after convention. Maybe next year I will get there too.

I would love to see some fresh ideas for hostess gifts - something useful, but different than a bunch of cards in a box/purse/thingey (which I've "done" to death by now).

The holidays are coming so anything with a holiday theme would be nice to see. Also, different ways to use handheld punches is always a winner!

Hello,
I'm a first time visitor to your blog and am very impressed. I'm also intrigued by UStamp and would like to enter my name for your draw. One of my favorite holiday traditions is certainly carving pumpkins with my boys - even though they are young adults now - it's not to be missed. Something about digging into the pumpkin and no two ever carve the same - no matter how you try.
Thank you.
