Well it is only 3 MORE SLEEPS until UStamp starts!!!!!! Are you excited? I am sure am and I am even more excited to offer you once again a chance to win a FREE PASS! All you have to do is answer a question and leave your answer in the comments section of this post and I promise this time the question is REALLY EASY,LOL!
Do you scrapbook and if so do you prefer to do Traditional or Digital pages?
Please remember to answer by 5pm Pacific time on Thursday and I will randomly draw the winner for the FREE PASS and they will recieve their invite for Friday Jan.15th!
I really enjoy scrapbooking and usually do traditional pages-I LOVE all of SU! papers, embelishments and the feel of the ribbons, buttons and chipboard. Although I am quickly becoming a huge fan of My Digital Studio!
Now on to some new projects using the gorgeous NEW products from the Occasions Mini Catalogue-LOVE IT!
Okay like I said earlier I am in love with all the new products in this Catalogue! For this 6x6 Scrapbook page I used the Designer Series Paper Stack Sweet Pea; you get 48 sheets of double sided paper in 24 different designs and of course I LOVE every single one of them! I also used the super cute Monkey from Fox and Friends, this set is full of cute critters and is a must have for everyone. For the top portion of the title I combined the Jumble Alphabet Set with the word "little" from the Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set (another one of my all time favourites). And can I say more about the Clear Mount Stamps?! Stampin' Up! has really out done themselves by keeping the same high quality rubber and images but now offering the "Clear Mount" option- takes up less space so more room for more stamps right?!
For this card I again used one of the patterns from the same Sweet Pea Paper Stack just this pattern has more blues and has a little more of a masculine feel to it. The Owl is from the Fox and Friends- see I told you this set is super cute! The colours used are So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Taken with Teal. I know this card has ribbon on it but I think it could still pass as a more "manly" card-right?! Brads are masculine aren't they? Hehe! The Sentiment is also from a new set in the Occasions Mini called Well Scripted, another great multipurpose set .
Well that's it for today but be sure to leave your comment so you can enter to win the UStamp PASS!
See you soon and happy Stampin'

Yes I do scrapbook but am a bit behind. I was a traditional scrapbooker than went digital and now am going back to more traditional but still throw some digital details in - guess that makes me a bit of a hybrid.

can't seem to find time to scrapbook the traditional style but hope i get lots of book created with MDS!! yay!

I only do traditional scrapbooking. I work on the computer all day so when I am at home I don't want to look at it. :)
Posted by: Terri | 01/14/2010 at 08:46 AM
I actually don't SB much at all these days but when I do I still like traditional, which is really weird to my friends because I'm a computer nerd!! LOL Thanks for the chance!

I have not scrapbooked...just put pictures in photo albums. I have purchased MDS and look forward to moving my treasured photos from cyberspace to MDS. Thank you for the opportunity to win a UStamp pass.

I scrapbook here and there. Not as much as I would like to. Sometimes I feel intimidated by scrapbooking. But when I do, I do traditional, digital and hybrid. I like it all, especially the digital.

I do like to scrapbook. I think MDS will be a huge time saver...but at this point I have not had a lot of time to play with it.

I don't scrapbook. I mostly make cards and 3d items and I have looked at the MDS but feel it isn't for me at this time.
Posted by: Sherry Davis | 01/14/2010 at 08:51 AM
I've fallen in love with scrapbooking but the traditional way. I've played with MDS a tiny bit but no time to get proficient. I like the fun of touching the paper and embellishments and moving them around.

Traditional scrapbooking is accumulating supplies but not getting done. I used MDS for my Christmas card - quite pleased with that and hoping to do more with digital. :)
Posted by: Julie | 01/14/2010 at 08:52 AM
It's my new Years resolution to do more scrapbook pages! I like both styles, but mixing the two together is so exciting!! I love your Monkey page! Soo cute!!

I love to scrapbook - both traditionally and now equally with MDS. I am currently in the process of scanning old family pics and then creating a Family Book to share with my cousins. But I love traditional scrapbooking because I LOVE to embellish and add memorabilia such as wristbands, shells, sand, etc. - especially on our Cruise albums!! LOVE BOTH!!

Hi, I started out scrapbooking, so I'm more of a traditional scrapbooker. But I do now have MDS and keep meaning to try it out there.
Posted by: Tina | 01/14/2010 at 09:02 AM
Yes, I scrapbook. I've been a traditional scrapbooker, but I'm heading over the the digital world. It really depends on what and why I'm scrapping as to traditional or digital. I do like them both.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I do scrapbook and while I really love My Digital Studio and have started to use it, I still really enjoy the hands on traditional scrapbooking. I am sure I will do some of each in the years to come!

Do you scrapbook and if so do you prefer to do Traditional or Digital pages? - I prefer traditional scrapbooking, but I intend to make some of them hybrid, starting with the digital layout, printing it, and then adding "real" embellishments. The best of both worlds.
Posted by: Carol Taggart | 01/14/2010 at 09:07 AM
I actually like the hybrid pages! I use MDS for my layout planning and pictures but I still like the feel of real embellishments on my finished projects. Thanks for the chance to win! USTAMP is really fun!
Hug and Blessings
