This week at The Paper Players the lovely Anne Marie has come up with a super fun CAS Challenge-Polka Dots! My youngest daughter had a birthday party to attend on Friday and I just knew this challenge would be perfect to create a super sweet card for the birthday girl.
Oh, Blushing Bride and Peach Parfait how I miss you! Those two colours are probably my most favourite from Stampin' Up!'s 2010-2012 In Colour Collection, however less then 2 weeks until the launch of the new Catalogue and I am so looking forward to all the gorgeous new In Colours and products:)
This card was super quick and easy to put together and features the retiring stamp set Beary Best Friends. For the colour combo I used Blushing Bride, Peach Parfait, Marina Mist and Wisteria Wonder. To add some texture and of course some Polka Dots I used the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder on the base of the card.
Now please do not look too closely at my watercolouring as I did it very quickly and it is a little messy, lol:) The bear was stamped using Black StazOn then colouring in using an Aqua Painter and several different Classic Ink Pads.

Adorable Jenn! I adore your color combination--so fresh and fun. The layout is fantastic and the silver glimmer number is just perfect. Personally, I think your watercoloring is fantastic! I'm sure this sweet card will be treasured for years to come.

Too cute, Jenn! Love the soft colors and the fun mix of polka dots you used. The sparkly 5 is such a great touch, too. I think your water coloring looks pretty darn good, by the way! That little bear is adorable! Have a great day! Hugs! :)

I think your little bear is quite cute...and watercoloring is supposed to be a little messy! LOVE the glittery "5"!! I am sure the birthday girl loved it too!

Oh my goodness...who wouldn't love that sweet bear?! Any 5-year old girl would love this! Love all the added accents of polka dots from the embossed background to the polka dotted bow. So pretty!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
