Well today is Tuesday and that means a new challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday, but it is also my mom's birthday today too:) So I used this week's sketch created by CherylAnn to make her a very special card.
My mom is a lover of bold bright colours, with purple, red and fushia being her favourites. It's so funny because I think the only bold colour she doesn't like is orange, of course that happens to be my favourite colour....hmmmmm:)
I decided to totally flip the sketch and emboss the Whisper White layer with the heart images from the Adorning Accents Folders to replace one of the sketch panels. I really tried to get the 3 embelishments to work but ended up just using ribbon.
In this picture you can see how I created a window in the front of the card that the punched butterfly peeks through. I used two different sizes of Framelits from the Labels Collection.
And of course I had to pretty up the inside too so that the one butterfly would not be lonely! I just love all the options that are included in the Family Reunion Stamp set.
Here's a full List of Supplies:
Stamps: Family Reunion, Papillion Potpourri
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Midnight Muse, Island Indido, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Lucky Limeaide
Paper: Summer Smooches Designer Series paper, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Big Shot, Labels Framelits, Adorning Accents Folder, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Rhinestone Jewels, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding
Have a great day and I hope you can join us this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!
