..... it is a part of life, yet I know for the most part I like to avoid it:) I am not going to lie, I like being comfortable in my daily life, sticking to a routine planning things out. I like to know where I am heading and I am not a very spontaneous person for the most part. That doesn't mean I don't like to have fun, I just don't like to fail-ever, which is hard because by trying new things and taking a leap of faith you learn, you grow and you suceed even if the out come is not exactly what you planned.
So what does all of this rambling about change mean for me right now, and why am I discussing it here? Well as I am sure those you that follow my blog on a regular basis know that I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for the last 5+ years and have loved every minute of it. I had never paper crafted before going to a SU! workshop and immediately fell in love with what I could make. I discovered a whole new world not only full of amazing products but people too. I found a hobby/craft that made me feel like me again, like I had something I was good at (well not initially, you should see the first card I ever made!) and could share with people. The SU! Conventions I attended are some of my best memories and the friendships I have made are life long.
I have grown in so many ways since first picking up that first stamp and am so grateful for all of the opportunities and doors that have opened up for me because of that workshop my friend was having and I just went to be polite-never knowing it would turn in to a creative passion.
So as with all things come change, and I am at the point in my little crafty career where a huge opportunity presented itself. That I, in my wildest dreams never though was imaginable. But it does mean I am taking a leap of faith and trying something new and it does mean that I must say good bye to being a demonstrator. What it doesn't mean is that I am saying good bye to my SU! friends/family. I still love SU! product and I still will be using and posting projects using all of the amazing SU! goodies that I have here in my craft room. It just means that I will be doing so as a SU! customer.
I am really excited to be making an announce on my my blog tomorrow and to fill you in on what my new creative endeavour entales.
And with that I would like to leave you all with something I created in MDS2 using a quote that I found on the internet. I plan on printing it out and framing it to display in my craft area. Just to remind myself the only person that can stop me...is me.
