Well I know that things have been quiet around here but unfortunately not because I was out enjoying life- lol! I was "lucky" enough to be hit by a really nasty cold/flu, and spent close to 5 days house bound and mostly in bed-ugh! Not my idea of a good time. Oh well I am greatful that I am feeling a lot better now and so is my youngest who also got sick. I warn you this post is long but promise it will be worth it to read to the end (grin!)
These are the Stamp Club projects that my group of ladies made last month and we always have a great time hanging out and crafting together. This time my hubby even made cupcakes for us-yummy!
Here is a close up of the Santa card we made and I also did this card for a Kids Chritmas Class. It was definately a hit with everyone and was inspired by This Fabulous Card. My upline Natasha had the great idea to use the Leaves #2 die for the BIg Shot to create his mustache. Isn't he just too cute?! The hat was created using a 3"x3 1/2" of Real Red cut in half on the diagonal, a 1 1/4" x 4 1/4"piece of Whisper White that we ran through the Crimper and a scrap piece punched out with the Boho Blossom Punch. For the beard and mustache we used the SU! Texture plate to give it the swirls. The eyes were done using the 1 1/4" and 3/4" Circle punches and a White Gel Pen. His tongue is a a 1" Circle of Textured Real Red and for the nose we also used the 1" Circle punch to punch out Blush Blossom cardstock.
Okay so now for the exciting news and and an opportunity to win something! Today is the start of UStamp with Dawn and Friends Year End Blow Out! As some of you may know I have been Creative Crew Girl for the last few rounds of UStamp, (if you don't know what UStamp is please click the link because you will not want to miss out!). Well Dawn phoned me a few weeks ago and asked if I would be part of the permanent Design Team as the "Dream Team" member representing Canada! Can you guess what I said?! Ummm -YES! So obviously with me being sick I have not gotten the chance to GIVE AWAY TWO FREE PASSES and make my announcement. Lucky for all of you I am doing it today all you have to do is:
Leave me a comment and answer this question"What is your favourite Stampin' Up! Stamp Set?"
Trust me you don't want to miss out on being able to win a FREE Pass and today's project is a Fantastic one created by the insanely talented Becky Roberts!
Can't wait to read all of the answers and I will be drawing the two names the evening of Dec. 2 my time (for any of you in Austalia or New Zealand that means you have until the Dec.3rd)
Mine would have to be Short & Sweet :)

I have to say HANDS DOWN - circle circus. It was a set I did not really want to buy, but once I did I use it all the time. It can be so versitile. It can be whimsy and fun, it can serious and appropriate for sympathy, and holiday design and elegant. WHEW! Lot's of bang for your buck I think!

Oh, wow! It's hard to pick just one stamp set. I guess my all-time favorite would be Lovely as a Tree, but there are so many favorites. There's the favorite-of-the-day, the favorite of the week, the favorite.... You get the pattern?

People actually choose one favorite set?!? I've been using Autumn Days a lot lately, so guess it's been my recent fave.

Great job on the Santa...I love the idea of using the leaves as a moustache. Favorite set- Snow Swirled for Christmas...but year round I would have to say Loads of Love. It's an oldie but a goodie.
