Well it is only 3 MORE SLEEPS until UStamp starts!!!!!! Are you excited? I am sure am and I am even more excited to offer you once again a chance to win a FREE PASS! All you have to do is answer a question and leave your answer in the comments section of this post and I promise this time the question is REALLY EASY,LOL!
Do you scrapbook and if so do you prefer to do Traditional or Digital pages?
Please remember to answer by 5pm Pacific time on Thursday and I will randomly draw the winner for the FREE PASS and they will recieve their invite for Friday Jan.15th!
I really enjoy scrapbooking and usually do traditional pages-I LOVE all of SU! papers, embelishments and the feel of the ribbons, buttons and chipboard. Although I am quickly becoming a huge fan of My Digital Studio!
Now on to some new projects using the gorgeous NEW products from the Occasions Mini Catalogue-LOVE IT!
Okay like I said earlier I am in love with all the new products in this Catalogue! For this 6x6 Scrapbook page I used the Designer Series Paper Stack Sweet Pea; you get 48 sheets of double sided paper in 24 different designs and of course I LOVE every single one of them! I also used the super cute Monkey from Fox and Friends, this set is full of cute critters and is a must have for everyone. For the top portion of the title I combined the Jumble Alphabet Set with the word "little" from the Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set (another one of my all time favourites). And can I say more about the Clear Mount Stamps?! Stampin' Up! has really out done themselves by keeping the same high quality rubber and images but now offering the "Clear Mount" option- takes up less space so more room for more stamps right?!
For this card I again used one of the patterns from the same Sweet Pea Paper Stack just this pattern has more blues and has a little more of a masculine feel to it. The Owl is from the Fox and Friends- see I told you this set is super cute! The colours used are So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Taken with Teal. I know this card has ribbon on it but I think it could still pass as a more "manly" card-right?! Brads are masculine aren't they? Hehe! The Sentiment is also from a new set in the Occasions Mini called Well Scripted, another great multipurpose set .
Well that's it for today but be sure to leave your comment so you can enter to win the UStamp PASS!
See you soon and happy Stampin'

Drats...just saw this.... I prefer traditional...I like to feel the textures of the embellishments...and use up the Stash!! ;)
Smiles.

I want to try the new MDS, but I haven't yet. It looks so easy. I have only scrap-booked the regular way. Love creating memories for the family.

I haven't tried MDS yet, but I like the look of traditional scrapbooking so far. Plus I LOVE paper and what would my excuse be to buy all that I do if I switched to digital. LOL
Thanks for the chance to win a pass to UStamp--very exciting. :)

I love to do traditional pages but am really admiring digital pages. I suppose I will someday get a program and start a new avenue with digital.

I love to scrapbook and do all sorts of quick & fun treats with my overgrown collection of SU supplies(holidays are not the same if I don't come into the office with some unique little item for my staff). I love traditional scrapbooking but someday want to try digital!! Kathy

Love to scrapbook but haven't had much time recently. I like the traditional pages.

I love to paper scrapbook, however just finished my first digital album. I loved doing it also

I have been doing traditional scrapbooking for years, and have just started playing with digital - I think that may be the way to go, with all my pictures being digital now, but it's hard to get my hubby and kid away from the computer. I'm considering how I can talk hubby into getting me a laptop... Thanks for the offer of the free pass to Ustamp; I would love to win it!

I like both, but I think I will get more done with the MDS...thanks for the opportunity to win a free pass to Ustamp.

I do some scrapbooking and haven't gotten to the digital yet. The majority of the time I just do cards. Hope to get a chance one of these days with SU-My Digital STudio.

I'm a scrapbooker - I've been scrapbooking for more than 10 years - I've always done traditional "paper" scrapbooking however I just recently made my first page in digital scrapbooking and I cannot wait to get it printed and see how that looks. I also want to try my hand at hybrid pages - just not sure how that would look.... I'm eager to find out though!

I love to scrapbook, and up until now, have done traditional pages. I have purchased the MDS, but as I am getting a new computer soon, I haven't loaded on to my older computer, hopefully soon I will be able to try digital.
thanks for the opportunity to win

Hi,
I was a scrapbooker before I was a stamper, so of course I love to carry on scrapbooking. I do digital scrapbooking & am awaiting with bated breath for Stampin' Up! to release the MDS in the New Zealand/Australia market. So at the moment for any Stampin' Up! scrapbooking I have to use paper.

I do scrapbook. I like both traditional and digital.

I love the color combinations and the way they work together on both of your projects. Great job!

I have been doing more scrapbooking since MDS came out it really helps me see things so I don't get so frustrated. I like to plan it out in MDS but I end up doing most of mine with traditional supplies, I haven't tried hybrids yet. By the way I love love love your little monkey page.

Currently I use traditional scrapbooking. To be honest, the cost of the printing for the digital is a bit high. But the digital is great since you don't have to pull out all of your supplies...signing onto the computer is much easier.

I don't scrapbook but I too have bought the MDS to help me get started. I would love to win to get inspired and see some great projects of all types. My customer base is getting smaller so new projects could them excited again.

Jennifer, I don't do a lot of scrapbook but when I started I worked with original style but now that we have MDS I use this like a designer tool and made my projects as hibrid projects. Some time i keek all the digital and only ad a personal touch or I made my digital version in a tradicional version.
Thank for the opportunity!!!!

I think I would have to say traditional. There is just something about touching the embessliments.
Posted by: Peggy Finney | 01/14/2010 at 10:32 AM
I scrapbook here and there - a lot to catch up on! I prefer the real deal at the moment, but I haven't had the chance to play with My Digital Studio yet. I see other possiblities for it. I just don't like the "flatness" of it for my pictures. Thanks for the chance at the pass, I'd love to check out Ustamp!

Thanks for this opportunity to win a free Ustamp pass!
I would like to think of myself as a scrapbooker. I am way behind with four children and full time work, however, I began in High School when I used magazine clippings for quotes and pictures to make pages with my photos! I've learned that my best way to scrapbook is to make pages that are "themed" then pull out the photos and add them in. Otherwise, I'm too picky about coordinating colors & it's gets crazy time consuming! I like the MDS for layouts before I start cutting up my SU cardstock!
All the best ~
