Wow can you tell I just love this new stamp set and paper?! I made this cute card box set before I left for Convention as one of my Tutorials for UStamp With Dawn and Friends. I loved the design of the box so much that I created my roomate gifts using the same style box.

This box was filled with lots of goodies for them to enjoy while we were away. I also made a few of these for some of my on line friends that I would be meeting up with while in Salt Lake City.
I made sure to put some "Canadian" treats in theirs so they could experience "real smarties and Ice tea" LOL!

I still have so much more to share from Convention and I promise I will not drag it on forever but I will post more pictures and projects over the next few days.

Stampin' Up Convention=Friends, Fun and FREE Stamps!

So now that I am back to the regular routine of my crazy household of 3 children, laundry and grocery shopping, I thought I would take a minute to relive all the fabulous fun I had at Convention.

Convention is more than just stamping and learning it is being able to come together and share your passion with 3000 like minded people!!!!!!!!! Of course the make and takes were awesome (I will share those later this week-after I have time to do them LOL!) but being able to sit and chat and learn with people who love this Company and it's products just as much as you do, is truly a magical experience :)

Of course I also had the best roomies in the world-thanks Laura for putting up with all my questions, Kari for sharing her special moment at the top with me and letting me be her paparazzi and Natasha my amazing upline for putting up with all my craziness and letting me drag her around as I chatted with everyone and anyone!

I still have so much to share from Convention including roomate gifts and meeting up with my amazing  on line friends and all the FREE goodies we were spoiled with! But I just wanted to quickly post a page I made in My Digital Studio featuring a picture of me and my wonderful roomies. I quicly threw this page together (one of the perks of MDS is that you can quickly create a page and then go back and tweak it later with out ruinning it!) and used some of the great additional downloads that I purchased last week. Including the beautiful Summer Splendor Designer "Paper" and the Vintage Overlay.

To sum up Convention is just a few words is hard to do, you just need to experience it for yourself! Party This Way... to Convention

Just a super quick post today as I am on my way out, but I am back from Convention and can not wait to share with you all of the amazing things that I saw, did, and learned!

I was in an organized swap on Friday night and above is the card that I made for it. I also thought it would be fun to create a little party favor to go with the invitation card.

They both use Party This Way stamp set,and the Designer Series Paper is called Celebration. The cardstock colours I used were Pacific Point, Real Red, Pear Pizzaz, and Bashful Blue.

ETA: The cute little party favour was created by gluing two of the large tags from the SU! exclusive Two Tags Die. I also ran the tags through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder (also a SU! exclusive) before attaching them. Then I used the yummy Satin Ribbon in Certainly Celery to tie  them shut.

My Digital Studio Fun- I Love Candy! (Cotton Candy)

Okay so my computer is working again-yeah! And I finally got around to reloading the My Digital Studio program so of course I just had to play with it!

After I reinstalled MDS I just had to treat myself to a few new Downloads! I just love how you can update your stash of "papers,embelishments,and stamp sets" with a few clicks of a button your order is here-talk about instant gratification. So I decided to use the Satin Ribbon, which I love "in real life", but I think it is just as yummy in the digital version-don't you?

The Start of a New Year with an Easel Circle Card

Yes I do know that it is only July, but in the world of Stampin' Up! it means that it is the start of a new year and the Launch of a New Catalogue!!!!!! I do have lots to share with you over the next little while using some awesome new sets and accessories but unfortunately my computer got a terrible VIRUS and the person who serviced it had to wipe out all of my programs including my Photo editing soft ware! (Trust me I almost cried when I had to go with out my computer for over a week!) Fortunately I have the pleasure of designing again for this round of UStamp with Dawn and Friends and wanted to create a project with one of the fabulous new sets from the new catalogue so this will give you a peek at one of my new favourite sets Butterfly Prints and also some of the new Core Colours.
