Okay so I am a total geek with my title but I wanted to use a little play on words, you'll know what I mean when you see my card :) So it is week #9 of challenges at Try Stampin' on Tuesday and we would love to have you come join us. CherylAnne is great at creating very clean and inspiring sketches.
Here is my take on the sketch:
I am eager for Spring to come so I thought I would use some bright fun colours and the Play Date Designer Series Paper (hence the title, lol!). A very clean and simple card with not a lot of embelishments. I am starting to get some great use out of the Scallop Circle from the Birds and Blooms sizzlet pack, I've had it for over two years but have rarely used it. I think it is the perfect shape for creating cute little flowers.
Supplies Used: Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Early Espresso,Whisper White and Tempting Tuquoise Card Stock, Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise Ink, Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set, Apple Blossoms Stamp Set (Level II Hostess Set), Play Date DSP, Big Shot, Scallop Circles #2 die, 3" Circle Die, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Birds and Blooms Sizzlets, Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder, Jewlery Tag Punch, Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Linen Thread and Brights Button in Real Red.
Have a great day,
Jenn,
This is so adorable. I love the bright, beautiful colors of this card. It makes me smile.

Jenn, this is so sweet and "folkish" looking. It could belong on an Alpen lady's dyrndl dress. I love it.

I see you got it done!!!! It looks GREAT! I like how you created a flower out of a die cut and a button.
