It's time for another FAB sketch at Try Stampin' on Tuesday! I still had some scraps on my table from the previous layout that I posted so I decided to once again use the colour combo of Peach Parfait, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso.
Here's the sketch:
I started with a Early Espresso base then layered on a piece of Peach Parfait card stock. I then used my very Beautiful Elegant Lines Impressions Folder with my Big Shot and embossed a piece of Early Espresso. Again using the Big Shot and very Vanilla card stock I cut out a flower from the Fun Flowers Die, then wheeled it with the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel and sponged the edges using Blushing Bride Classic Ink. I then misted the flower with a mixture of Shimmer Paint and alcohol then crumpled it up a bit. The butterfly was cut out using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and Pear Pizzazz card stock.
Next I layered on some Peach Parfait DSP (from the Hostess Pack) that I had sponged with matching ink and used several different border punches to create the ruffled edges. I added a strip of Pearl Jewels then tied around some Pear Pizzazz Poly Stitched Ribbon and added a tag that had been stamped with a word from Fabulous Phrases and a little heart from Tiny Tags.
Supplies used:
Stamps: Fabulous Phrases, Tiny Tags, Very Vitage jumbo Wheel
Ink: Early Espresso, Blushing Bride, Peach Parfait
Paper: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Big shot, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Elegant Lines Folder,Fun Flowers Die, Pearl Jewels, Jewlery Tag punch, Pear pizzazz Ribbon, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Sponges
Hope you can join us this week and play along!
