Fabulous Aviary

It's Tuesday which means that we are challenging you to try a little stampin'! CherylAnn has come up with a grreat sketch for Try Stampin' on Tuesday this week. I must admit I was a little stumped at first by the embelishment placement but in the end I think the card turned out cute:) And remember a sketch it a great starting point.

here's my card:

I flipped the sketch and then started with a Crumb Cake base then layered on some Textured Marina Mist and a piece of Cherry Cobbler that had been dry embossed with the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder. For thew main image I used the super cute Aviary Stamp set and Basic Black,Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist inks. Using the Bitty Buttons and Pearl Jewels as wells as a punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack I scattered them on the card as per the sketch.
 
I then stamped to of the words from my most favourite word set ever-Fabulous Phrases. Love the font in this one!

Card stock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist Textured, Basic Black, Very Vanilla.

Accessories: Big Shot, Pearl Jewels, Bitty Buttons, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder,  3/4 and 1" Circle Punch
