Okay so I know in almost every post I do I make some reference to "this is my favourite" :) but I truly adore the stamp set Define You Life. It is perfect for card making and scapping, so needless to say I just had to use it to make a wedding card that I needed for this past week end. It is on the Stampin' Up! Retirement List, so if you are like me and NEED this set be sure to order it by June 30!

I also simply adore the Sweet and Sour Specialty Designer Series Paper! The wedding colours were bright pink and orange so this paper was a perfect match. The card base is Naturals Ivory and then I layered on Early Espresso, Melon Mambo Textured and then the DSP. I embossed the DSP with an image from Baroque Motifs. I first stamped it with VersaMark then used Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder and my Heat Tool-so fun! I then added a strip of Early Espresso that had been punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.
For the sentiment I first inked the stamp with VersaMark then Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink as I do not have Craft ink in this colour. I then again used the Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder. I punched it out with the Wide Oval Punch and matted it on to a Textured Melon Mambo Tag that had been die cut using the Big Shot and the Lots of Tags Sizzlets. To finish the card off I added some Basic Pearl Jewels and Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon .
All supplies used:
Stamps: Define Your Life, Baroque Motifs
Paper: Melon Mambo Textured, Naturals Ivory, Early Espresso, Sweet and Sour DSP
Inks: Pumpkin Pie, VersaMark
Accessories: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Big Shot, Lots of Tags Sizzlets, Pearl Jewels, Pretty In Pink Taffeta Ribbon, Wide Oval Punch, Heat Tool
Have a great day,
Love the card...my son's wedding is Bright Pink, Pumpkin Pie and Navy! I thought they were very unusual colors, but looks like your bride chose the same!

Hi Jenn,
just stopping by, I totally agree with you I love the sweet and sour dsp. Very pretty card you made using it. The rounded corners and the little bitty pearls give it that special added touch. Have a great day!
