It's Wednesday and that means another FAB challenge at Stampin' Royalty. This week we have a colour challenge for you and I ws so excited when I saw this combo as it has some of my favourite Stampin' Up! colours!
Here's my take on the challenge:
I knew with this colour combo that I wanted to create lots of "white" space to make the challenge colours stand out. As I have mentioned many times before I LOVE orange and Peach Parfait is such a pretty shade-not too intense but not too subtle either. Also I have found that Blushing Bride has become my go to pink lately as it has a nice "dustiness" to it and decide to make it my card base. With Melon Mambo being the bright and lively colour that it is, I made it the focal point by creating a large flower using that awesome Big Shot and the Fun Flowers Die. I sponged the edges with matching ink and used the Melon Mambo Marker to create little lines on the petals to make them look a little more realistic.
Then using the Boho Blossoms Punch I made a center of the flower using Peach Parfait card stock and a Designer Printed Brad. I also added the other two flowers from the punch to balance out the design. The flag was created using Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper and I added a decorative edge to each side using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and Early Espresso card stock. The large white layer was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder and finished off with some Peach Parfait Poly Twill Ribbon.
We would love to have you play along this week so be sure to stop by and see all of the Design Teams Awsome Samples.

I TOTALLY love how the added lines make the flower. My favorite color combo is pink & orange and these colors are fabulous together. Thanks for sharing this project.

Wow, Jenn! I love this! Adding the lines with the markers adds so much to those flowers. I'm totally going to try that next time. Thank you for the inspiration!
