Well as most of you know scrapping is my first love when it comes to paper crafting so when I had to create samples for Stampin' Up! Leadership I was really looking forward to going through some of the zillions of photos that I have taken of my kids:)
One of the the super fun things that we were asked to do was use the supplies that all the attendees would get in their make and take packets, but the catch was we had no instructions!!! So we were sent the packet and told to get creating. It was so fun to see the leadership samples as everyone created so many different projects using the same supplies.
The package included Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, Mixed Bunch and Loving Thoughts stamp sets, Brights Buttons as well as the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit. Now normally I think most people would think that flowers are not very masculine and I would tend to agree, however in this case I decided to use a picture of my son. He had just finished playing a soccer game and was sitting on the sideline when I snapped this shot. I just really like the way he looks "deep in thought" and that I was able to snap a picture with out him knowing (although he told me after that he thought he looked grumpy, lol).
The page itself is an 8X8 piece of Baja Breeze. I then layered on a piece of Twitterpated DSP, added a Libray Clip and some Lucky Limeaide Bakers Twine to the photo and arranged some of the die cut flowers from the Blossom Builders Kit. For the title I die cut some DSP using the Simple Letters Alphabet and added a Poppy Parade stamped circle image from the Mixed Bunch Set. The flags are also from the Blossom Builders Kit and were stamped with 3 of the words from Loving Thoughts.
Supplies used:
Stamps: Loving Thoughts, Mixed Bunch
Ink: Poppy Parade, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Baja Breeze, Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, Blossoms Builder Kit
Accessories: Big Shot, Simple Alphabet Die, Lucky Limeaide Bakers Twine, Clips Assortment, 3/4 Circle Punch
Have a great day,
Adorable page. Having two boys, it is interesting to see that flowers truly can be used on a boy page.. looks great!

Jenn, this is a wonderful page. I didn't make any scrapbook pages with my M&T supplies...scraping for me is painful at best. But if i were as good at it as you, I might do it more often. I think you did a great job of keeping it gender neutral!

Gorgeous page Jenn. I agree with you, deep in thought - not grumpy! LOL!
I'm lucky in that, having only girls, I can use all the flowers and girly stuff I like without worrying. But I think you did a great job here of keeping it neutral.
