It's Tuesday so that means another great sketch at Try Stampin' on Tuesday to get your creative juices flowing. As always the design team has come up with some fantastic samples for inspiration so be sure to check them out and we would love to have you join us this week!
This week I decide to create a sketch that was horizontal and a "long" style card. Sometimes it is just fun to mix it up a little as I tend to make the traditional A2 size cards most of the time. For the base I started with Peach Parfait card stock then layered on two different designs from the Everyday Enchanted Designer Series Paper pack (FREE with a $60 purchase). All the paptterns in this DSP are absolutely gorgeous. Next I placed a piece of Lucky Limeaide Ruffled Ribbon across the card then took another piece and created 4 loops with it leaving two tails, then wrapped an Antique Brad around the middle to create the look of a double bow.
The main image is from another item that you can earn for FREE during Sale A Bration (but only until March 31st!) called Elementarty Elegance. This beautifully ornate set has 7 different stamps and coordinates perfectly with the Curly Label Punch. I stamped the frame image using Pool Party Classic Ink then die cut it using one of the size labels from the Label Framelits Collection and my Big Shot. Next I stamped the sentiment then punched it out. Using my go to tool - the Colour Spritzer, I added some light sprays of Sahara Sand to add some more interest.
Have a wonderful day!
Beautiful! Love the long style!
