Wow I can't believe that we are in the final weeks of Stampin' Up!'s Sale A Bration promotion. Today I thought I would share some projects showcasing the gorgeous Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and the beautiful Elementary Elegance Stamp set. All three of these projects use the same DSP and stamp set but as you can see by changing up the colour scheme and accessories you can get something that looks totally different.
I think this is a bit of an unexpected colour combo but I really like the way it came together. I started with a base of Shimmer White card stock then used the colours Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeaide, Baja Breeze and Island Indigo. To create the ribbon flower I used some Baja Breeze Seam Binding and a punched 1 1/4" Circle ( I just used a paper scrap). I started by adding a drop of hot glue to the center of the circle then began winding the ribbon, attaching it along the way using my hot glue gun. Then for the center I added some Pearl Jewels.
Now this card has so many of the things I love:) Destressing, spritzing, embossing and sponging. For this card I used Poppy Parade, Basic Gray, Basic Black and Very Vanilla for the colour combo. I started with Basic Black for the card base then layered on a piece of Very Vanilla that had been embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder. Next I layered on some First Edition Designer Series paper. The main piece of DSP from the FREE SAB pack Everyday Enchanment and I stamped it with the frame image from Elementary Elegance in Basic Black Craft Ink then Heat Embossed it with Black Embossing Powder and punched the center out with the Curly Label Punch to create a window. The sentiment was aslo heat embossed this time using Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder. I then sponge over it with Basic Gray ink.
Last but not least is this cute little purse that showcases one of my new favourite colour combos: Pool Party, Peach Parfait, Soft Suede and Poppy Parade. This cute little purse can easily be made using a 6x6 piece of DSP and the Simply Scored Tool. (Frenchie has a great video HERE showing you how to make it.) For mine I created a closure by making a flower using the Island Floral Die, Boho Blossom Punch and a SAB brad. I attached it with Dimensionals and then added to the back a piece of Texture Soft Suede Card stock punched out with the Decorative Label Punch to create a flap that could slide under the flower. For the purse strap I used some yummy Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and attached it with the super cute Mini Brads.
Have a wonderful day and be sure to check back tommorrow for the newest challenge from The Paper Players!
Gorgeous! The black/vanilla and red combo is so striking! And I love the little purse - saw her video ... may make one myself ...
