Happy Wednesday everyone! Wednesday not only means it's the middle of the week but it also means that there is a fun new challenge at Stampin' Royalty. This week we have a great colour challenge for you, and once again I was forced to use purple:), and suprisingly once again I actually like the card, lol!
Now there are a few things on this card that I do not use very often. Sahara Sand and Perfect Plum are definitely neglected colours in my stamp room, I figured if I was showing them a little love then I definitely should ink up a set that has been burried on my shelf for a long time- Circle Circus was the obvious choice. The base of the card is Sahara Sand and then I layered on a large piece of Marina Mist. Next I stamped four different images using all four of the challenge colours.
To create more interest on the images I stamped one of them again using Perfect Plum this time on a scrap of paper and cut it out then popped it up using a Dimensional. I also added a punched flower and Rhinestone Jewel.
Once I did that I wanted to balance out the embelishments so I used my 3/4" Circle Punch and created a semi-circle notch in the Whsiper White card stock. This created the perfect place to add a button and some Linen Thread.
We would love to have you come join us this week at Stampin' Royalty and be sure to check out what all the awesome stampin' goddesses came up with!
Have a great day!
Circle Circus is one of my favourite and (oddly enough) most used stamp sets. I lOVE this card!! The set is also great for adding background texture to layouts - my go-to trick!

This is so pretty Jenn, I love how you punched half a circle for the button!!!

LOL I pulled out Circle Circus over the weekend, stared at it for about 30 minutes, and put it back up because I was clueless! I LOVE this card though. If I can get over my "stamped images can't touch" issues, I might have to make one in different colors. While I LOVE purple, I don't own Perfect Plum...or Sahara Sand for that matter!
