It's Tuesday and you know what that means-right? Time to get sketchy with Try Stampin' on Tuesday of course:) I've been really trying to create some CAS sketches lately that are a perfect starting point, and I just love seeing what everyone comes up with each week! And be sure to check out the rest of the Design Teams amazing samples!
The stamp set Lacy and Lovey was on my must have list as soon as the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue came out on July 1st. I just love the beautiful font and swirly doily type images. Another must have for me was the gorgeous Fan Fair Designer Series Paper. For this card I started with a base of Naturals Ivory card stock and sponged the edges with More Mustard ink. The large piece of DSP was embossed along the top with one of the strip folder from the Delicate Designs Folders. I also sponge the edges of the DSP and over the raised images to create more contrast.
The large image was stamped directly of the DSP using Riding Hood Red ink, I then layered on a die cut from the Delicate Doilies Sizzlet. Next I stamped another one of the images using More Mustard ink on Very Vanilla Card stock and punched it out with the 1 3/8 Circle Punch. The butterfly is from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set and was stamp on Water Colour Paper using Jet Black StazOn Ink, punched out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch then watercoloured using an Aqua Painter and several inks.
Have a great day!
