Always Remember to Live in the Sunshine

Sorry it has been so quiet around here, I was away since last Wednesday with very little acess to the internet-but for good reason as I got to see my "little" (I say that loosely as he is 6' 3"!) brother marry the love of his life:) Oh and all 3 of my kids were in the wedding party, that means lots of cute pictures to come!

So tonight I thought I would share with you another one of my Artisan Award entries. Unfortunately I will not be attending Stampin' Up!'s annual Convention this year but you can bet I will be stalking the internet to see all of amazing displays! And I am so excited to finally see the Artisan Finalists fabulous enteries.

This page really stirs up a lot of emotion for me as all I truly wish for my children is that they will continue to grow into the amazing people they are already becoming, and for them to always try to see the positive in people and in life. Trust me I know how very difficult that can be first hand but I truly believe that trying to stay focused on the good can only bring better things:)

Unfortunately I did not get a really great picture of the page before I sent it off:( I used the products from the Summer Smooches Suite and created a page with a lot of white space so the pictures could really stand out. One of my favourite parts of this page is the White Waffle Paper that was ruffled across the bottom of the page. It added some more dimension and texture to the the layout which was important because of all the white space.

I also added a die cut Doily behind the largest photo to balance the over all look of the page.
