I am happy to be back today with a post for Stampin' Royalty. I had taken some time off from the Design Team and it's great to be back! We have a great change for you this week -Anything Goes!!!! So there is no reason not to enter this week:) All you have to do is show us what you made! Now be sure to go check out what the rest of the Design Team came up with and then go get crafty!
Normally I shy away from fusst cutty, although I have been doing a little more of it. The love the stamp set Fabulous Florets and it has some beautiful line image flowers that are great for water colouring but they also work really well for stamping on patterned paper too. I wanted to create a mostly black and white card with pops of colour. Well it is actually black and vanilla:) The large piece of First Edition Paper was stamped three times with the solid large leafy image from the set. I did not reink in between so the black would get lighter and lighter. I also spritzed it using a Basic Gray Marker and the Colour Spritzer Tool.
After the flowers were cut out I took an Aqua Painter and Pink Pirouette ink and lightly coloured each of them. I also stamped and cut out two small leaves and did the same this time using Luckly Limeaide Ink.
The butterfly was stamped using Jet Black StazOn on Water Colour Paper then coloured in using Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede and Pool Party Ink Pads and an Aqua Painter. I stamped the antenna directly on the DSP then attached the butterfly with a Mini Glue Dot and curled up the wings.

Very Cute card Jen and I am glad you are back. I didn't go to convention either but hope to see some new ideas and catch the news. I sure miss being there but couldn't swing it. Have a great day. Hugs, Bev
