It's time for another fun sketch at Try Stampin' on Tuesday! I think this week's sketch has a ton of possibilities, so I hope you will join us. And for some more inspiration to get your stamping mojo going be sure to check out the rest of the Design Teams Samples!
I needed yet another birthday card for a party last weekend, this time it was one my oldest daughter was attending. I wanted the card to to colourful and fun but because this was a tween/teen party I had to make sure it wasn't to young or to girly looking:) I think I maybe a little stuck on using the Papillion Potpourri, can't help it I just love that set!
For the base of the card I used Pool Party then layered on a piece of DSP from the Storytime Designer Series Paper. The words from Fabulous Phrases were also stamped on DSP from the same pack. A very CAS layout but I think effective. I had to laugh because according to my daughter, I think the birthday girl's mom enjoyed the card more then she did!
Supplies used:
Stamps: Fabulous Phrases, Papillion Potpourri
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso
Paper: Storytime DSP, Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Wild wasabi
Accessories: 1" and 1 1/4" Circle Punches, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Rhinestone Jewels
Have a great day!
