It's time to finally reveal the Setember kits at Studio Calico! The Double Scoop Kits have been my favourite so far:)

Here's a look at the kits I used this month:

I even got to play with some of the Digital Cut Files this month thanks to a great friend who let me use her Silhouette Machine - not gonna lie I think I am in NEED of one of those in my house:)

A few more Sneaks at Studio Calico's September's Kits

Just popping in here quickly to show a few more peeks at what I have been working on. Not only does Studio Calico rock every month at creating current and trendy main kits but they always have such fabulous add ons as well.

Here's a little sneak at the Card Kit Add on Bubble Gum:

This card uses mostly the Bubble Gum Add on plus some ribbon and enamel dots from the Double Scoop Card Kit.

And this one uses products from the Bubble Gum Add On only.

How about I give you the scoop on Studio Calico's September's Card Kit? It's full of gorgeous papers and the most amazing stamp set! I am talking great images and versitile sentiments, my favourite so far.

Here are the 3 cards I have made so far using just the card kit:

*GASP* Yes that is "real" stitching on my card! I know it is only a little straight line but baby steps,right?

I had a lot of fun with this patterned paper. I cut out some of the frames and watercoloured them.

And for this one I did lots of stamping. I just love this doily-ish image and created a background by stamping it numerous times using Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeaide inks from Stampin' Up!

Sailing the Atlantic..... Well Not Really

Okay so I am a total geek but the title of this blog post just popped into my head and I had to go with it. My projects have nothing to do with sailing or the Atlantic ocean but they do use Studio Calico's Atlantic Collection:)

Here is a scrapbook page featuring my two daughters having fun in the water at a local lake.

It felt sooooo good to scrap as it has been awhile but I am ready to get going again although I will admit this page took forever; for some reason I just couldn't get it to come together easily. This page uses papers and lots of embellishments from Atlantic as well as some cool frames and letters from Crate Paper's The Pier Collection.

So well, ahem... I attempted to sew on this card and it was a little disastrous, but now that I finally have a sewing machine I am bound and determined to start using it:)
