This card is more cutesy then I usually make but i just couldn't help it-those cloud images paired with the cute little smiley face are just too adorable! I also needed to add some soft "sprinkles" of colour using the awesome Color Theory Inks in Coral Bay, Blush Crush , Mint Hint and Sunny Day.
Can't get enough of that gorgeous striped ribbon! I added a few stitches to it here and then used some amazing digital cut files that I resized to fit my card front. The digi shop this month is bursting with awesome printables, cut files, digital stamp brushes and templates.
Sometimes I just love creating a card where the stamp set get to be the star. That's exactly what I did here with this gorgeous set from 1Canoe2 from the Pinball Add on. I created a background using the floral stamp image and Versamark. I love how this ink creates a watermarked image, just slightly darker then the cardstock you are stamping on to create a nice tone on tone image. I then stamped the image again on watercolour paper with Versamark and embossed it using Black ZING powder, then watercoloured using inks.
Along with an amazing stamp set, the Pinball add on has a gorgeous ribbon, beatiful papers and I am loving the silver accent pieces like the little label and doilly.
For this card I decided to really showcase several of the patterned papers and add lots of fun stitching. So glad I am friends with my sewing machine again:)
