Well the last time I blogged I certainly didn't think it would be three months before I would post again. Truth be told my absence is due to just plain old life,lol. I am smack dab in the middle of life with kids that are 17, 13 and 9. They are busy which in turn makes me busy:) But I am trying hard to enjoy the ride with all of the many ups and downs that present themselves along the way. The oldest will be graduating this year and is in the process of figuring out what universities she is planning to apply to, the middle just started high school and is trying to adjust to that as well as balance all of his sports. And the third, well she is my wild child, the free spirited independent little money who loves to run, climb and has found her calling in a "ninja warrior" class. So yeah that pretty much sums up what I have been up to.
However, I did get to make a card out of necessity the other day and boy did it feel good! So much so that I have decided I am going to do my best to find some "me" creative time on a more consistent basis.
This card was made for a very special girl that has been friends with my daughter since they were 9. It was fun to us the pop up die to create a little wow factor.
Tomorrow is World Card Making Day, so fingers crossed I get to spend some time in my craft room after soccer. Maybe I'll even get to blog;)
