Hello everyone and welcome back to another Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! We are a group of 16 Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world, that were chosen to represent Stampin' Up! over the course of the 2019 year, through blog hops, Facebook posts and corporate blog posts. Each month we will be be focusing on a particular set of products to bring you inspiration from around the globe Stampin' Up! style.
This month we get to work with new and exciting products from the 2019/20 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. Our focus is on the fabulous Come Sail Away Suite of products that have a fun nautical theme to them, but as you will see these products are very versatile as well.
For my projects I created a traditional 12x12 scrapbook page and card with matching envelope. Stampin' Up! makes it so easy to create different types of projects by using a coordinating suite.
I love traditional scrapbooking, I began scrapping shortly after I found Stampin' Up! and card making. This page started with a 12x12 piece of Whisper White card stock and some of the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper. One of the great things about this suite is that there is also a coordinating Memories and More Card Pack that is perfect for pocket scrapping but they can be used on tradition pages as well. TIP: Use Memories and More Cards on traditional layouts for easy journaling and quick and easy pages. The sticker embellishments work great for filling out a layout and creating a title. As you can see this page has nothing to do with nautical but I was able to make this suite work perfectly for these fun photos of my kids (including "fur kids")
For this card again I took advantage of the versatility of the Memories and More Card Pack. They are not just for scrapbooking, in fact Stampin' Up! created the Assorted Memories and More Card Bases And Envelopes to coordinate perfectly with both the 4x6 and 3x4 sized cards. All you have to do is attach it to the card base and go from there! I layered an amazing laser cut 4x6 card on top of a piece of DSP and then adhered it to the card base.
I braided the Sahara Sand and Night of Navy Baker's Twine to create a rope like appearance in keeping with the nautical theme. The Sail boat imagine was stamped and die cut then covered with a little Wink of Stella for some subtle sparkle. TIP: To create an easy watercolour look, ink up the stamp then lightly mist it with water using a Stampin' Spritzer, then stamp on watercolour paper. I also added some ink splatters by tapping an Aqua Painter that had been dipped in Classic Ink.
Now next up on the Hop is the insanely talented Kaylee van Es, I just know you will love what she has to share!
Now remember, there are 16 of us sharing inspiration today, be sure to check out all of the fabulous projects!
As always please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding today's projects and all supplies used are listed below.
Both are fabulous projects Jenn, great layout! I love that you have braided the twine - I shall be giving this a go for sure - Hugs Emma XO

I enjoyed them. I could use the one with the compass and knots for a Scout card :)

Great projects. I especially love how you used the ship's wheel laser cut card with the two different striped patterns and the layout over it. It was a hard card for me to figure out!
