Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that have been or are currently on the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team. We love sharing our passion for creating with all of you and hope to inspire along the way.
This month's hop is all about our new Annual Catalogue favorites! And yes that is plural as I could not choose just one, so I combined a few of my new must have items. I was on a budget for my first order from the new catalogue, so I had to think long and hard about what the items were that I just HAD to have.
My top 5: To a Wild Rose Stamp Set and Wild Rose Dies, 2019/20 In Colour Ink Pads, Woven Tread Designer Series Paper and Nobel Peacock Rhinestones
Of course I have ordered more since;)
This card uses all 5 of my top picks. I am a complete sucker for florals and as soon as I saw the To a Wild Rose set I knew it would be my first pick. I love how multi step stamp images create such beautiful richness and depth. This set also has DistINKtive stamps, these are stamps that give beautiful photo realistive details.
TIP: To give the gorgeous rose image even more impact I layered several of the images and then cut out the center of a separately stamped rose and popped it up with Dimensionals. I wanted to add a little more interest to the leaves other than the typical green colour, so I stamped off Pretty Peacock then stamped it on top of the Old Olive leaves.
There are several great sentiments to choose from in this set. I decided to create a layered sentiment on the die cut label. I also embossed the label with the Subtle Embossing folder to add some texture and it ties in perfectly the understated DSP pattern.
Now make sure you check out the awesomely talented Jeanna Bohanon, she is the next blog on the hop!
Thank you for visiting my blog and as always if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
