It's Friday and that means another great challenge on the TGIF Challenges Blog!
This week we have a wonderful sketch challenge! Sketches are such a great jumping off point to get your creativity going, and trust me I could really use the help this week! This sketch was perfect to help me add another Christmas to add to my pile. And yes, I am still making Christmas cards, and I haven't mailed any out yet. Sigh, at this point maybe I should consider making New years cards, lol!
I absolutely adore the Wishes and Wonder Stamp and Die Bundle. It includes beautiful classic Christmas images and a mix of lovely fonts. For my card I used the sleigh image and stamped it using Versamark on Shimmery White Cardstock then heat embossed it with Silver Stampin' Embossing Powder. Next watercoloured it using Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight Classic inks and die cut it out.
The Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper is absolutely gorgeous and contains photo realistic images on one side and stunning silver foil patterns on the other, I used a piece with a pretty winter scene as the background for my card. Using the tag die from the North Pole Wonder Dies I cut out the tag then placed in back into the space, but popped it up with Dimensionals to create an inlaid effect. Some twine was added to the tag and I also added some splatter of Frost White Shimmer Paint to the whole card front to create some added sparkle. A few Iridescent pearls and a sprig of Vellum finished it off.
I hope you can join us this week and make sure to check out the TGIF challenge blog for some more awesome inspiration!
All products I have used for today's project are listed below with a direct link to my online store for easy shopping! Also remember that Stampin' Up's Year-End Close Out Event is going on now and there are a lot of great savings on seasonal products from the August-January Mini Catalogue.
