I have a confession to make, I have the biggest crafty crush on Charlet Mallett from Painted Orange. There is nothing that she has ever created that I didn't love! Like seriously, here design esthetic is always perfection. So I was super excited to see that this week's designer challenge take over is hosted by the lovely Charlet, she is challenging us all to get our Ombre on!
I can never have to many birthday cards on hand and the You Are Amazing Stamp Set is the perfect set for creating a quick fun card. With the new catalogue launch just around the corner I wanted to highlight one of the retiring 2019-2021 In Colours. Pretty Peacock was a favorite colour for many, although I personally will miss Rococo Rose the most I really like it paired here with Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy.
I created my own pattern paper by repeatedly stamping the phrase all over a piece of Basic White Cardstock in the three chosen colours. A little splatter of Night of Navy adds some interest to the background. The word bubble image was first ink in Granny Apple Green then using Sponge Daubers I added in Pretty Peacock and Night of Navy Classic Inks. The daubers make it easy to blend the trio of colour into the perfect Ombre effect. The sentiment was stamped on top using VersaMark Ink and then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder then fussy cut out.
