This month is all about New Favourites! The May 2021-April 2022 Annual Catalogue is full of brand new and amazing products. I have so many favourites, but I managed to narrow it to the Expressions In Ink Suite. I used the Artistically Inked Bundle, Expressions In Ink DSP and had to add in some of the gorgeous new Ombre Specialty Glimmer Paper to create my card for todays hop.
I started with a standard sized Basic White card base and layered on a piece of the stunning Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper. This paper is truly gorgeous in person, with details of gold foiling veined through out one side of each of the designs. I folded up the opposite corners to create some contrast and interest.
One of the things I love about this bundle is that there are dies that cut out stamped images, but also stand alone images. Here I used the large beautiful floral bunch to die cut my focal image from Ombre Specialty Paper. I just love the soft glimmer and sparkle this paper holds. It is also almost smooth to the touch, nothing like chunky glitter paper. For the sentiment piece I inked up one of the images with Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight, both colours were stamped off for a softer version. The edges of the die cut stitched shape was adorned with a few pieces of Gilded Leafing flakes. These are so fun to work with and a little goes a long way! I added a few pieces of ribbon and some In Colour Jewels and called it done. Now I have a pretty thank you card ready to be received.
